What the first session looks like

You don’t need to prepare anything formal, but reflecting on your goals for therapy beforehand can be helpful. Most importantly, just come as you are.

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know you. We’ll ask about:

Your personal and relational history

What you’d like to achieve

Building a good fit

Therapy works best when you feel comfortable and understood, so you can:

  • Be open and honest about your thoughts and feelings

  • Ask questions whenever you need clarification

  • Share if something isn’t working for you
